Eyewear Trends of 2017 and How to Wear Them

Eyewear Trends of 2017 and How to Wear Them

Buying eyewear online can be a daunting task. Despite typically lower prices, oftentimes it can be difficult finding the right pair of glasses without trying them on first. Luckily, finding the right frames for your face can be broken down to a science. We're here to simplify the whole process for you.

In this article, we're going to use eyewear from our own collection as examples, but you can find similar eyewear all over the internet. Whether you choose to purchase from us, or someone else, you can use this article as a guide to assist in your journey of finding a pair of glasses that will seem like they were made just for you. I think it's worth mentioning, however, that each pair of glasses featured in this article include a lifetime warranty, and they all ship for free within the United States.

Before we start, I'd like you to take a nice long look in the mirror. Take a look at the shape of your face. Is it heart shaped, round, square, rectangular, ovular, or even pentagonal? Whatever it is, it's going to be an integral part in finding the right glasses. After you've taken note of your face shape, I need you to smile and remind yourself that you're beautiful. Done? Okay, let's get on with it.

5) Devi - $64.99

Devi On Face

Devi glasses

"Devi" is Sanskrit for "divine feminine," these frames will help you bring out your inner goddess. These glasses are wonderful. They're fashion forward yet refined, and have an air of sass to them. They come in a variety of colors: Summer (vintage/muted yellow), Leopard (similar to tortoise, but more like a leopard), Tortoise (pictured), and Onyx (black). These glasses are suitable for those with more of a heart shaped face.

4) Monsoon - $65.99

Monsoon On Face

These oversized frames are sleek, chic, and powerful, just like you. Oversized frames are super in-trend right now, and they're not going anywhere. They come in Indian Summer (pictured), Tortoise, and Onyx. These frames are great for folks with square and heart shaped faces.

3) Nirvana - $64.99

Nirvana Frame

Nirvana Frames

These large, rounded frames give off peaceful vibes in style. Nirvana is the ultimate state of enlightenment. Nirvana was also a band from Seattle, and these frames are super reminiscent of the frames that Kurt used to wear. Funny, right? These babies come in Summer (pictured), and Tortoise. These frames are best suited for those with round and heart shaped faces. I almost typed "Heart Shaped Box" instead of "heart shaped faces" just now...whoops. Oh well, you would've known what I meant, right?

2) Algebraic - $65.99

Algebraic Frames

Algebraic Frames

These frames are a nerd-punk's best friend. They just scream "I Don't Wanna Grow Up." If you caught my reference, it must be pretty cool to be you (2x's cool points if you caught both, but enough with the music references). These frames are a limited edition, modern take on the Clubmaster. They stay classic while making a statement. You have a few options to choose from with these, they come in Tortoise, Raven Ash (black), and Saltwater Taffy (a very 70's interior decor reminiscent brown color). They're best suited for those with heart or square shaped faces.

1) Maya - $65.99

Maya Shades

Maya Frames

Command respect like the Queen Maya herself, the famous mother of Buddha. The wooden cat-eye wows others, with wonderful gradient lenses and zebrawood frames. They compliment those with either a heart or square shaped face.
